Our school council has been running for 6 years. As a council we have achieved many things and learnt a huge amount!

Our School Council is made up of two Class Representatives from Year 2 through to Year 6. At the start of the school year, each class elects their two Class Representatives. Year 6 elect four reps as two of these become the Chairperson and Secretary for the council.

We hold monthly School Council meetings and Class Council Meetings are held in between these.

These are a few ideas/suggestions from pupils that we have agreed as a council and are now in place:-

Our School Council has a Treasurer, who looks after our money! Well, our money is safely in the bank but the Treasurer keeps a note of how much we raise and spend!

Part of our budget is used to buy new playtime equipment each year. This has been great as the pupils get to choose what equipment to buy.
