Our School
English Martyrs’ School is a voluntary aided Roman Catholic Primary School
serving a very wide area of the Parish of English Martyrs’ Strood including
the immediate area plus Hoo, Allhallows, Cliffe and the Isle of Grain to
the North and Darnley Road area, Cuxton, Marlowe Park and Parkfields Estate
to the South.
Our school has a
one-form entry, one class for each age group and our classes are mixed
ability. We have a Reception Class (Foundation Stage) two Key Stage One
classes (Years 1 and 2) and four Key Stage Two classes (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6).

We are
pleased that KS1 results increased across the board at level 2B+. This
is down to the hard work of all staff in FS and KS1.
At KS2 pupils exceeded the targets
set for them in English and Maths. We are also pleased to notice the
improvement in Science results, where we continue to work as a staff to
raise results in this subject.
